This adult and family-friendly Pirate Festival features a 3-day Pirate Market ay Port Royal (at a new location at Big Stan’s in Thornville, Ohio) and a weekend Buckeye Lake Pirate Treasure Hunt by Land and Sea.
- A bustling Pirate Marketplace with over 100 vendors and the indoor Pirates Cove for Kids.
- The Tri-County Treasure Hunt spanning 30+ locations around Buckeye Lake.
- Unique themed Treasure Hunt tours for Pontoon Boats and Motorcycles; others to be announced.
- Special offers at local businesses, plus a bounty of live music and engaging activities for the entire Pirate family.
There are plans for days of entertainment and activities all around Buckeye Lake to celebrate the kick-off to Summer. Everyone is welcome, especially Pirates, Steampunks, and Mermaids!

The Port Royal Pirate Marketplace is free to attend and features two outdoor shopping areas featuring over 100+ vendor booths and multiple food trucks.
Free family & children’s entertainment will be provided throughout the festival.
